About Hiroki Takeda
Hiroki Takeda is an artist who continues to depict an ideal world where life coexists through the soft expressive technique of watercolor painting.
With his meticulous brushwork and vivid colors, he expresses the realism of animals as if they are breathing.
Her commissioned work has been waiting for about 4 yearsand has been exhibited at art fairs in Taiwan and Hong Kong, attracting attention both in Japan and abroad.
Statement
A world where other lives are not sacrificed for the sake of human-centered values.
This vision that Hiroki Takeda holds dear is the underlying message of his work.
In this exhibition, "Echoes of Earth - Resonance with Nature," Takeda will take this idea into consideration by looking at the relationship between human activities and nature from the larger perspective of the Earth, and depicting the "future" that resides within this connection.
The dragons running through the city cast a gaze from nature that the people living there are gradually forgetting, while the plants and endangered animals question the relationship with other life that we humans have overlooked. The lives that call out for their own existence in the landscape created by humans remind us that humans are also part of nature, and that we resonate together with nature.
What will the utopia of the future look like?
Takeda's works do not offer an answer to this question, but rather provide an opportunity for each viewer to dialogue with his or her own memories and emotions, and to gain new insights.
We hope that this exhibition will awaken a "sense of ownership" in each of us and help people and nature to resonate with each other.
